Requests to sign transactions are PIN-code protected, and Burner will permanently lock after 20 failed attempts. If you receive a Burner as a gift, you can verify whether or not its key has ever been used to sign a message.
Can I use Burner offline?
Yes, we offer open source libraries to interact with Burner at a low level. These libraries can be used with smartphone web apps, dedicated apps and command line interfaces. They also work with desktop PCs and hardwired NFC readers meaning you can use a fully offline desktop computer to interface with Burner for the highest security.
